The Healing of
                          Windwalker
My name is Bishop Richard George and I have been given a sacred trust.

I had been serving as a bishop in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for about four years when my wife developed ovarian cancer and subsequently died. The overwhelming sense of loss I felt made it necessary for me to retire as the CEO of an international corporation with divisions in chemicals, oil, and advanced weapons systems, and to take a break from my many church responsibilities. I felt I needed time alone to commune with God and to find answers to several questions which had been troubling me. After pondering and praying about where to go, I was drawn to the rugged beauty of the mesas in the Four Corners area of Colorado where I had hunted many times over the years.

One day, while I was exploring the top of a mesa, I came upon an old Indian man sitting alone as if in prayer. He didn't stir as I approached, and I wondered whether or not I should disturb him. I could see that the old man was very ill and I was extremely concerned about his condition. When I asked him if I could get medical attention for him, he told me that his name was Windwalker Chad Smith and that he had had a vision and already knew he was going to die there on the mesa. He said he was told that a man would be sent to him before his death to help him deliver a powerful message to his people and he knew that I was that man. He then proceeded to relate to me the most amazing story I have ever heard! Even more amazing was the astonishing vision I, myself, had just prior to his demise in which I was taught the great mysteries of life after death. Having had this extraordinary experience, I am now able to relate to you Windwalker's story as told to me in his own words, as well as a full account of the incredible events that took place during my stay with him on the mesa.
